Based on requirements from the Growth Management Act (GMA), all counties and jurisdictions in Washington are required conduct a periodic update of their comprehensive plans, the next update taking place in 2024. Due to the passage of HB 1220, there are many required update elements related to affordable housing. Alex Brennan, from Futurewise will break down implications of the new requirements and what advocates can prioritize. There will also be a discussion and question period.
