About the Event

Washington state’s oldest local energy company, Puget Sound Energy serves approximately 1.1 million electric customers and nearly 840,000 natural gas customers in 10 counties. During COVID, we are all seeking ways to cut back costs of housing developments and increase savings for tenants.

Join Puget Sound Energy Outreach Team to hear about:

- Crisis Affected Customer Assistance Program (CACAP) COVID-19 Relief Fund

- Window and Efficiency rebate options for Multi-Family Units

- Solar Grant Program for Non-Profits/Transitional Housing

- New/existing build energy efficiency grant opportunities

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

Offset costs to your multi-family developments.

Affordable housing developers can learn how to offset the costs of their multi-family developments while attracting tenants who are looking for a more sustainable living environment through PSE rebates and grant opportunities.

Reduce overall energy use and save money.

If you own or manage a multifamily property such as a condominium or apartment, you can lower your bills and reduce your overall energy usage with energy-efficient in-unit and common area equipment. And with PSE's multifamily retrofit incentives, you'll save on the cost of upgrades.

Help your tenants pay their bills.

Learn about financial relief options available to you and your tenants under PSE’s CACAP during COVID-19. The CACAP has been created for customers who have had their household income significantly reduced after March 1, 2020

Our Lunch and Learn events take place over the lunch hour and provide an informal educational session where you can eat your lunch and learn something new! In order to keep AHC members and our community partners up to date and informed, we will be presenting Lunch and Learns throughout the year on topics relevant to affordable housing, nonprofits, resources, advocacy and community action efforts. Have an idea for a Lunch and Learn or want to present on a topic? Let us know! _________
