About the Event

What role can faith communities play in addressing the housing crisis? Join Mason United Methodist Church, Mercy Housing Northwest, and Michael Mirra, past Executive Director of Tacoma Housing Authority and member of the project steering committee, for a conversation on how churches can steward their property to create affordable housing. This session will explore the real-world challenges, partnerships, and potential of faith-owned land as a tool for housing justice, using Mason UMC’s bold redevelopment vision as a case study.

The conversation will be held in the Parlor of Mason United Methodist Church.
