City of Lakewood Comprehensive Plan Update: Part Two
For Part Two we will be joined by Tiffany Speir, Long Range and Strategic Planning Manager for the City of Lakewood. She will go over Lakewood's housing allocation numbers, equity index map, and how the City plans to meet new housing requirements ahead of the 2024 Periodic Update.

About the Event
In June, 2023 we were joined by Berk Consulting to discuss the City of Lakewood's comprehensive plan update. Andrew Bjorn gave a great presentation outlining the elements that will be the focus of Lakewood's update including affordable housing, middle housing, and the Climate Change & Energy Chapter.Â
Part Two will be led by Tiffany Speir, Long Range & Strategic Planning Manager at the City of Lakewood. She will be discussing the City's housing allocation numbers which will set the stage for how many affordable units the City will need to accomodate, and expain Lakewood's Equity Index Map. Join us to hear how the City of Lakewood is planning to approach the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update and meet new state-mandated affordable housing requirements.Â
