About the Event

The Affordable Housing Consortium of Tacoma-Pierce County invites our members and the community at large to a forum focused on addressing barriers to affordable housing development in Pierce County. This event brings together municipalities, developers, funders, and stakeholders to discuss the current state of affordable housing in Pierce County, explore challenges that developers are facing in the field, and discuss strategies for overcoming barriers in order to increase and preserve affordable housing across Pierce County. There will be time before and after the forum for networking with peers from the affordable housing community.

There will be four panels:

  1. State of Affordable Housing in Pierce County
  2. Comprehensive Planning and HB 1220
  3. Pierce County Affordable Housing Developer Panel
  4. Affordable Housing Funder Panel
